Operation Snap - December 2025 Update.

Technology continues to play a vital role in keeping our roads safe for everyone who uses them.

Operation Snap, which enables members of the public to submit digital footage of dangerous or careless driving, has become an important part of our road safety education across Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire.

Footage submitted includes incidents such as dangerous or careless driving, overtaking on solid white lines, using a mobile phone at the wheel, ignoring traffic lights and behaviour that puts vulnerable road users, such as horse riders and cyclists, at risk.

In the past three months alone, the public has submitted more than 1,000 pieces of footage, with 68% resulting in positive action to address driver behaviour.
